Getting Serious About Home Business
Home-based business operators (many of whom fall in the category of Work-at-Home Parents or WAHPs) have always been at the heart of the goals I set for Avallach Technology. At times this message has perhaps been watered down and confused due to the fuzzy borders between “home business” and “small business”.
With the new financial year well and truly underway here in Australia, it is a good time to re-assert our core values and objectives and to reinforce the message that Avallach Technology is here for “the little guy”.
In line with this, changes are underway to the site and the way in which our products and services are presented. While we DO still want to be of assistance to small business in general, offering individual services such as web hosting, it is time to stop falling into the trap of being “just another web provider with a list of services and still not really telling me what I need”.
I’m sure that will sound familiar to anyone who has spent any time researching the online options open to them!
I’d like to kick off this new era by unveiling our specific plans for “WAHPs”. With a vibrant work-at-home community here in Australia, and indeed worldwide, it is my intention that Avallach Technology will be more than a solution provider to these wonderfully hard-working people. Avallach needs to be a guide and technology “mentor” lighting the way for those who are STILL being told that they need to fork out thousands of dollars to get themselves online.
It is time for Avallach Technology to stand up for the things I personally believe in, and to give priority focus to those who need it most. As I “speak”, the final details are being put in place for an exciting innovation that will undoubtedly excite many WAHPs. With our new WAHP package we really will be setting new thresholds for low cost and maximum value – I can’t wait to tell you more!
My message to WAHPs is simple; keep fighting the good fight. As I have written previously, the future of business really is going to be shaped by the “cottage industry” rennaissance.
Free Web Sites For Small Businesses
In line with our goal of helping small and home business startups, we will shortly be offering free web sites for qualifying small businesses based on our ExpressWebz platform.
